We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer who will be responsible for the design and implementation of scalable system architectures for our mems based platform. The work will include the design and development of overall system, motion control, temperature control, detection systems, and networking. The candidate must be able to lead complex hardware and software development projects from architecture, through design and build to validation. Project management responsibilities include the ability to set achievable key milestones and meet them. This role requires the ability to be both a strong team member and an individual contributor. The candidate must also have demonstrated leadership potential.
Requirements:
* A BS/MS in computer science or electrical engineering with 5 years minimum experience
* Experience in system architecture design for analytical instrumentation
* Experience developing systems around the ARM processor, system-on-chip and FPGA
* Demonstrated ability in C/C++ and assembly for developing firmware and GUI applications.
* Knowledge of developing PC, MFC, and Windows CE or Windows XPe applications
* Demonstrated aptitude working with mechanical hardware
* Experience in developing applications under FDA regulatory guidelines is highly desired

The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of Object oriented concepts, Web technologies and .NET Framework.
* 3-5 years experience as a QA professional. Knowledge of C# and Java is essential. Knowledge of web applications technology including IIS, .NET and MSQL is critical in this role. We are looking for someone who has the ability to work independently, handle multiple tasks, and has excellent communication skills. Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline is preferred.

This position will be responsible for testing of assigned projects in the company’s suite of document management products. You will assist in creating and maintaining comprehensive test plans, managing and executing various test cases and accurately reporting the results. The position requires the ability to communicate with development, production and QA, to keep the product on track and all team members informed of status. Must be willing to take a highly interactive and proactive role with developers and other teams to help in resolving development and defect related issues.
Qualifications/Basic Job Requirements:
* Experience (3-5 years) in testing software applications in a Linux /Unix environment
* Must have experience in test areas such as unit testing, functional, negative, user acceptance, regression and performance & stress testing
* Must have experience with bug reporting and tracking
* Experience with MySQL or other relational DBMS, including database testing. Working knowledge of scripting language to include Perl
* Ability to work with development and production groups
* Excellent writing ability
* Requires US citizenship
* Character: must be someone who has demonstrated professionalism and maintains confidentiality. Must be self-starter who is not fazed by unexpected events. We are looking for a mid-level Application Developer / Programmer to join our staff.
My company, CDM, is a global leader in environmental engineering (Deer Island, etc.).
The Application Development Practice creates web and database applications that manage project information, documents, laboratory results for environmental data, and GIS-based systems.
Job Description:
* Interviews and studies CDM clients and their operations to map and understand business processes/issues and assist in converting these into system requirements for custom-built and integrated Information Management systems.
* Creates functional Information Management products, including web applications, database applications and desktop applications using a modular design and iterative development methodologies.
* Designs and performs quality control (QC) checks as part of the work products; works with testers as directed to ensure integration quality and testability.
* Assists in specifying hardware and software components, configuring hardware and software systems and providing development, testing and production support for projects.
* Coordinates and oversees work of peers or subordinate staff members; takes direction from senior developers and peers; generates new ideas and solutions by independent and project-based technology research; leads and participates in technical discussions and presentations among peers.
Job Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a closely related technical field
* At least 2 years experience application development in a development team environment
* At least 2 years experience with MS Access, Oracle and/or MS SQL Server (preferably all 3). DBA or lead developer experience with server configuration, PL/SQL and/or T-SQL programming is a plus.
* Certification such as Certified Oracle Professional, MCSD, MCSE, etc. is a plus.
* At least 2 years experience with Web-based application development, web application architecture and component-based application development, especially using .NET framework (VB.NET and/or C#). Plus, W3C standards for web client development (e.g, DHTML, JavaScript, CSS, XML/XSLT, etc.)
* Significant experience in systems integration - i.e., setting up and diagnosing servers to support the development team; installing software, writing scripts for automating systems maintenance, establishing good practices for multi-system communication, establishing backup schedules, analyzing, specifying and proposing hardware to meet specific project needs (like, cost-effective database servers, web servers, map servers, etc.).
* Professional writing and presentation skills, work effectively with a range of internal and external clients and contribute technical content to CDM proposals in IT and systems integration areas, as directed.
The following skills are strongly preferred:
* 2-3 years experience with a consulting firm
* Exposure to geographic information systems (GIS)
* Experience in analyzing user/business requirements, developing use cases, and direct contact with end users.

We are looking for several individuals to work in our Quality Group. We are looking for entry level Associates through Senior QC Engineers. Engineers will work with their Project Teams to ensure that all healthcare data capture programs have been adequately tested, validated, and meet the standards of product quality for product releases.
Primary Responsibilities
* Perform validation testing for new and existing programs, including defect reporting and regression testing. This includes functional, regression, stress, performance, scalability and system testing.
* Keep contemporaneous records of test results as described in Outcome's Standard Operating Procedures.
* Provide status information to QC Lead Engineers, Project Managers, and management as required.
* Participate in the development and review of Customer Specifications and Validation Documentation for releases of Outcome products.
* File comprehensive defect reports in Outcome's issue tracking system for problems found during testing or specification review. Validate the fixes for these problems and record the outcomes in the issue tracking system
* Supply time estimations for projects under the direction of the Director of Quality.
* Act as the QC Lead Engineer for minor projects such as small updates under the direction and supervision of a Senior QC Engineer or the Director of Quality. QC Lead Engineers work closely with Development and Project Management to define, specify, implement and validate a project as it moves through the Development Lifecycle.
* Understand and follow the company’s validation and corporate processes including Standard Operating Procedures, Working Practices and Guidelines.
* Recommend improvements of validation and corporate processes and help implement changes when necessary.
* Develop and maintain knowledge of all applicable Federal and State regulations regarding healthcare data such as HIPAA guidelines and FDA 21 CFR Part 11.
* Participate in customer audits of product quality systems as necessary.
Qualifications
* B.S. in Computer Science or related major
* Interest in and understanding of software development and testing methodologies
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Experience testing software products, especially web-based products
* Experience writing software test plans, test scripts (test cases) and test reports
* Experience in Software Development or QC Engineering
* Experience working with pharmaceutical, biotech or medical device companies
* Understanding of FDA 21 CFR Part 11, HIPAA or ISO 9000 is preferred
