Abstract
Becoming a Technology Manager
Successfully moving from a technical
individual contributor to a technical manager requires a combination of
personal metamorphosis and professional growth. As an example, you will
find that managing the work is very different from doing the work. You
will also need to learn the business of technology management, which
requires managerial expertise and a broadening of your technical
knowledge.
